Biniyam (pronounced be-knee-yah-m) helps manage the Foundation’s grant portfolios and supports the overall Foundation’s function. Prior to joining the Foundation, he was an Intelligence Associate at Point72 tasked with protecting the Firm from internal and external risks. In addition, he has also served as a Litigation Paralegal at Ballard Spahr LLP in NYC. He received a BA in Political Science with a minor in Portuguese language from Middlebury College. Born and raised in Ethiopia, he is fluent in Amharic and enjoys watching and playing soccer and is a big Liverpool F.C. fan.
